My method for mixing colors in this course is based on watercolor paints. But the principles also translate to other paint mediums. The only difference will be how to mix light & dark valued mixtures - in watercolors, white comes from the paper and depends on the dilution of paint. in other mediums you add white or black.
I provide a list of paint recommendations to get the best results from your color mixing. But you don't need to use the exact same colors or brand. I'll give you guidance on how to find equivalent hues depending on the brand of paint, and closely equivalent pigments if you don't have the exact same colors.
